Hermit Crabs!

Santa left the boys some Hermit Crabs! They really like them. They named them Hermie, Evil Kenevil, and Mr. Crabs. We did have one more but he died. And we just had another death. Mr. Crabs is no longer with us. The boys took it well. Kellen said that stuff like that happens to little animals. He told me that they do not seem to live long.

This is not a very good picture of Mr. Crabs (the big one). RIP we will miss him. Next to him is Hermie. He is shy and very rarely comes out of his shell when we are around. In time he should get better!

This is Kellen holding Evil Kenevil! He is named that because he is not scared of anything! He just goes off your hand and if you don't catch him he will just jump.

As you can see when you look at this blog there are a few pictures missing. I don't know what happened to them but I will be putting them back in sometime today. I also have more pictures to put up. Happy New Year!!!!!!!!

On New Year's Eve we had Pam, Jon, Anna, and Todd over to play games and watch movies. Pam, Jon, and Anna live next door and Todd is Pam's Brother. We had a good time playing poker! Jared beat us all! Too bad we were not playing for any money. The kids watched movies and played games on Kellen and Ethan's new game table. The kids drank "kid wine" as Kellen called it out of special glasses! They had so much fun. We all made it to midnight (but not much later than that).

On New Year's Eve we did a little science experiment!

We dropped a Mentos into a 2 Liter of Diet Coke.

It puts out a 10 foot geyser! The kids had a blast!

Nana and Papa Visit

Nana and Papa (April's Dad and Step-mom) came for a visit. We had a GREAT time. Lexi came and spent the day with us on Wednesday! On Thursday we went to see Happy Feet! The boys LOVED it the adults were not quite as thrilled with it as the kids. Also, on Thursday Uncle Ben and Auntie Marie came for a visit. We had a good visit with Nana and Papa (Papa Wheelie as he likes to be called).

The boys had a GREAT christmas! Santa brought Hermit Crabs, Dr. Dreadful Lab, a computer game for Kellen, and a gumball machine for Ethan. They have gotten so much stuff in the last two days. They are planning on playing all day to play with it all.

We still have a visit from my dad and step mom this week. And a visit in Janurary from Jared's dad to look foward to.
