We are so close to the end of the year! The kids have five and a half days left! This year has seemed to fly by. We have almost been in Marshfield for a year! Does not seem that long. Kellen is going to be in sixth grade in the fall and Ethan is going into third grade. I have asked this question several times but it does bear repeating. Where does the time go?
1. Ethan has a little over a week left in the cast. Then we are going swimming! He has really missed swimming!
2. Kellen had his spring band concert this week. I am in awe of them. They have improved so much in just a few short months!
3. My square foot garden is planted. Now if if survives the frost tonight it will be amazing.
4. The year is almost over!!!!!

Tiny Triumphs 17!
This week has been one Doctor's appointment after another. I feel like I have lived at the clinic. It is a really good thing that they have an awesome cafeteria or I would be lost. I hate to wait. This way I can get a drink and read. So on with the triumphs!
1. Kellen has been having some heal pain lately. It is nothing constant it just comes and goes. Every time that I think of taking him to the Docs he is fine. Well, I took him in on Monday and she did some X-Rays. Nothing was off in the X-Rays. But she did say that he has a issue with the growth plate in his feet. Nothing that he won't outgrow. And all he has to do for it is wear gel heel pads in his shoes! Such an easy fix! I am glad that it is now taken care of. Unfortunately, he has to deal with it.
2. Ethan had an appointment to get some X-Rays on his wrist and then to have a cast put on. The X-Rays showed that both of the bones going to his wrist were fractured. The ER could only see one. I guess the swelling is a problem. He is now sporting a green cast. He has had everyone sign it and is really making the most of it. He only has to stay in it for three weeks! June 7th it will come off and then we go swimming. I will get a good picture of him in his cast and post it soon. Every other picture I have taken has been blurry because he won't stop moving. As the doctor said " I guess you just can't keep a good guy down!" That is so Ethan!
3. I now have my garden! I have paid to use a plot at the community garden! On Tuesday we were given our plot assignments. I can't wait to get out there. I just have to wait a little bit longer to make sure we won't have any more frost.
4. We went to the bike rally last weekend. The boys both got new helmets! Ethan did not ride as he is kind of scared of getting back on his bike. Not that I blame him. Kellen did ride and was given a T-shirt, water bottle, backpack, and a few other goodies! This area is a good place to be. The clinic, hospital, and insurance company around here are always holding something and giving something away.

My Poor Baby!
Ethan was riding his bike on Tuesday and fell off. I have never heard a scream like the one I heard. Once I had found out what happened and looked Ethan over. His wrist had swollen and I thought that we had a problem. Off to the ER we went. They got Ethan in really fast and did an x-ray. The x-ray showed a fracture of the wrist. He is now in a splint and we see a new doc next week and hopefully get a real cast. Ethan is really milking his injury. Showing it to everyone! He is also trying to get away with no Gym class and no writing. That did not fly.

Where in the heck did two of my posts go? I had a Tiny Triumph up and a picture of Ethan. Now where did they go? I want them back! NOW! I have no patience and now I am going to have to re-do them. So bear with me and I will get them done again. If this happens again I will have to find a new place for my blog. I will keep you all updated as to what happens and the new address of the blog if I move it.

It Is Done!!!!!
So WAY back in 2009 I started a t-shirt quilt. HERE is the original post. Well, here we are in 2011 and I am FINALLY finished with the quilt! I read the old post and saw that I had thought that it would take me a few years and it did! I guess I was right, again! It did get a lot bigger than I had planned. So here are a few pictures of the finished product!

Easter Eggs!
The pictures below got all turned around. I am not sure what is wrong with Blogger but I am not happy. Anyways, we did color some eggs this year. It would not be Easter without egg salad and Tang. If you get that reference you get ten points! The points are awarded by me and have no value what so ever. But you can keep track of them if you want.
A bear I made.
Poor guy fell and cracked his poor head! Then Kellen wrote a suicide note explaining why he took his own life. I am not sure where he get it from but YIKES!
This poor bee died in a hive accident. Ethan made him. They were on a kick about things dying. Get it? Dying? As in coloring the eggs? If you got that then you get twenty points!

"I vant to suck your......yolks!" Duh....He is an egg vampire he has a thing for yolks. If you got that lame one take five points.

Now I am on my way to the Ol' Norge to get some TANG! It is what Astronauts drink so it must be good. Do they even still sell that stuff? Now I want some and I want to introduce the boys to it. It really could be a pivotal part of their development!

The COOLEST thing ever!
Oh my gosh! You will not believe the coolest thing that I ordered today. I fell in love with it when I saw it on another blog that I read. I looked high and low and finally found one! I almost wet my pants when I saw it! I am already planning parties so I can use it. I may even loan it out....with a HUGE deposit required to use it. On second thought, nope it is mine and you can't touch it. Maybe I will have to put it in my craft room so no one can even look at it. Would not want it to come to any harm. But seriously I NEEDED this to go on living. I did not know how I could ever have a party again without this thing. So I ordered it!! Now I know you want to see it so I guess I will let you. I will also tell you what it is!
