Find The Eggs!

The boys looked for Easter eggs on Sunday morning. They seemed to have a blast! The Easter bunny left them money in their eggs instead of a lot of candy. They got fifteen dollars each in Quarters and Dimes. That was their favorite!Kellen looking for his eggs

Sunday Afternoon

On Sunday we spent the day outside at Grandma's house. We had some beautiful weather but the wind was nasty. It was a nice day! The boys were in heaven!Kellen and Sammy getting reacquainted

Pretty flowers in black and white. I was feeling kind of arty yesterday. I was taking a lot of pictures of black and white dogs so I felt I needed to do it this way

Tiny Triumphs 19

This week has been Spring Break for the boys! I have been off of work to spend some time with them. We have had a few days of relaxing and just being bums. I can already tell you that I don't want to go back to work on Tuesday of next week.

1. The litter is still being scooped!

2. Lily is now unable to have kittens!

3. We helped our neighborhood out a bit when we cleaned up trash that was around!

4. We made coffee filter flowers and butterflies!

5. We did a science experiment to see if oil and water mixed! It did not!

6. We went to the zoo and played at the dog park with Gilley!

It has been a very good week to have a break and we have really loved our time

Have a great week!

Coffee Anyone?

The boys made some coffee filter butterflies and flowers. I think that they turned out cute so I had to share!A line of Kellen's butterflies

Ethan's flowers are my favorite kind! They don't die and don't require water!

Helping Mother Earth

On Sunday we all took a walk. We all decided to take bags with us and pick up trash as we saw it. The boys each filled two plastic grocery bags full. Jared and I didn't do too badly either. Ethan kept telling me that he would be really good at finding Easter eggs since he was really good at finding the trash.

I hope that this will help them understand that when they litter someone has to clean it up!

Check Out Our Freezer!

We recently bought a whole pig from some friends of ours. And about a month ago we bought a 1/4 cow from Jared's mom. I have to say that there is something very satisfying about looking into a FULL freezer!
