Ghost Cookies

On Friday was Ethan's Birthday! I made some cute ghost cookies for him to take to school to share. They were very easy but also very messy to make. All they are is Nutter Butter cookies dipped in white chocolate with chocolate chips for eyes. Viola, ghosts! A close up of the ghosts
We had a whole flock (is flock the right word?) of ghosts in the house

Cutting Paper With Ethan

Ethan was doing his "homework" tonight. He had to cut some things out to glue onto paper. He started singing a cute song that I wanted to share. So here it is!

Thumb on top
Take small bites
Hold your paper in the other hand tight
Cut it out
Cut it out
Cut it out
Cut it out with you scissors
Cut it out
Snip Snap and cut it out

He sang it the whole time he was cutting paper. I had to write it down to post on here.

A Pre-view of Halloween 2008!

I know, in the post below I said Ethan was going to be a Vampire. But, now he is going to be a Ghoul with light up eyes and the Vampire cape. Kellen is a scary guy with light up mask. I was going to make the costumes but there is no way that anything that I make will turn out. So here is a pre-view of the boys' costumes!

What Do You Do With A Sleeping Vampire?

You let him sleep, of course!

Pam and Jon gave Ethan an old cape that Jon had worn one Halloween. Ethan wanted to be a vampire. Once he put it on he would not take it off. He even told me that I could not shorten it because then it would not float around him. He was running around the house for days saying "I vant to suck your blood!"

Ethan fell asleep on the couch the first day that he got it!

Back To School

The start of a new school year has now gotten underway! I can't tell you how excited everyone was to finally have something new to do. We are getting back on some sort of schedule.

Kellen started school on Tuesday. His teacher is Ms. Loker! He had her last year and we were all excited that he got to have her again. This year brought another treat for Kellen. Anna our neighbor is in his class too!

Ethan started school on Wednesday! He was so excited to start! He has Mrs. Witkins, the same teacher that Kellen had for kindergarten. I took him to school today and got to stay for a bit (until he told me to go home). I got to help with a project and listen to a story too! I was a bit sad when I left. The aide, Ms. Householder, told me that she can always tell when they have the baby of the family because the parents always leave with tears in their eyes. Well, I was no exception to that rule.

Below are the pictures I took of the boys today. I put them in a video because I thought that it was a fun way to do it. Also, there are a few pictures of Ethan's shoes. They are there because he learned to tie his shoes yesterday and is very proud of himself!
